A detailed shot of a fraction of P.tendercool’s amazing collection of antique slabs of tropical hardwood. Over 8 years belgian designers Pieter Compernol and Stephanie Grusenmeyer collected about 200 slabs of the rarest tropical hardwoods, often chickenwing wood. Clients can select any of these slabs and ask P.tendercool to create a 100% bespoke dining table, desk or coffee table.
The workshop or atelier is located in front of P.Tendercool gallery and is open to the public. Actually the atelier is a industrial archeological gem, built in the 1940’s and is still in original condition. This alone counts for one hell of a reason to visit.
